A faulty luminaire is not a case for the skip.

Monolicht luminaires are designed so that individual components can be replaced – driver, LED module, optic or glass. You keep your lighting and only replace what is faulty.

The situation

Usually the luminaire is not broken – just one component.

Even so, the whole installation is often replaced: because spare parts are missing, because nobody is responsible, or because the model is no longer on the market. That is exactly where we come in.

Individual luminaires fail

A driver gives out, an LED module flickers – the rest of the installation works perfectly. Replacing everything would be disproportionate.

Our solution: We supply and replace the faulty component – the luminaire stays where it is.

Spare parts no longer available

Discontinued by the manufacturer, no documentation, no contact person. Buying new seems to be the only option.

Our solution: For our luminaires, spare parts are in some cases still available after 20 years – and we remanufacture them when needed.

Repair looks more troublesome than replacement

Unclear responsibility, open timeline, unknown costs – in the end people go for new.

Our solution: A fixed process with diagnosis, cost estimate and date – before you decide.
Construction

Repairable means: dismountable.

Our luminaires are modular and assembled with releasable connections. That makes the following components individually replaceable:

Process

Four steps – and you know where you stand.

No open questions: you receive the diagnosis, cost estimate and date before we repair.

1

Enquiry & photos

You report the fault – with a photo and, if available, the luminaire type or project reference. We identify the luminaire.

2

Diagnosis

We identify the faulty component, check availability and report the cost estimate and duration.

3

Repair

Component replacement in house or spare part delivery to your electrician – whichever is faster.

4

Return & testing

Function test, return delivery and – on request – an on-site check after installation.

Impact

What you get out of it.

Less waste

Replacing one component instead of the whole luminaire – housing, optic and installation stay in service.

Lower costs

Repair instead of new purchase and reinstallation: usually a fraction of the replacement investment.

Same light appearance

No mix of colours or shapes in the room – the installation stays consistent, even years later.

Experience

Repair is routine for us, not an exception.

We develop and manufacture in Switzerland – which is why we know every luminaire we have delivered.
