When you refurbish or change use, we take Monolicht luminaires back, test them technically and put suitable components back into service – in the same product or as upcycling.
Not on purpose – but because nobody takes them back, because time is short and because it is unclear what is still usable. We provide a structured route for that.
Change of use, new tenant, new lighting concept: the existing luminaires are intact but no longer fit the concept.
Housing fine, electronics old? Without testing that cannot be assessed – and in doubt everything gets thrown away.
Clients and certifications require evidence – not intentions.
Suitable components are tested, refurbished and put back into use – either in the same product or in a new context as an upcycling product. Whatever can no longer be used is sent to recycling, sorted by material.
So that you can gauge what is realistic in your project even before enquiring:
Four clearly defined steps – you always know where your luminaires stand.
You report type, quantity and timing. Please also give the PA number – it has been on the luminaire label since 2017. It lets us determine components and quantities precisely.
We arrange the take-back and settle logistics and dates with you or your contractor.
Assessment by type, condition and year – including a separate evaluation of the electronics.
You receive the recommendation and we implement it – reuse or recycling sorted by material.
Because we develop and manufacture in Switzerland, we can assess, open and return our luminaires to service even years later.
