High Alpine Hotel Living Pontresina

Hotel Maistra 160 creates space for the wishes, longings and needs of guests of very different generations – in the middle of an era that is changing faster than ever. Its architectural expression is high-alpine, reduced and original. It unmistakably bears the signature of the renowned Grisons architect Gion A. Caminada.

For this exceptional project, Monolicht was able to realise and deliver both standard luminaires and specially developed custom solutions, in close collaboration with designer Martin Nievergelt. The individually tailored lighting solutions make a substantial contribution to the atmosphere and the architectural effect of the spaces – precise, restrained and harmoniously embedded in the overall experience.
